The 46th FIDE Chess Olympiad concluded in Samarkand on 27 September 2026, after 11 rounds of competition among national teams from around the world.
Türkiye finished 13th in the Open section with 15 match points and 11th in the Women’s section with 16. Grandmaster Yağız Kaan Erdoğmuş also won individual silver on board one, scoring 8/10 without a loss.
